Welcome to Indigo Moon
Using only the finest Merino wool, Blue-faced Leicester wool and silk/wool blends for dyeing, Trish draws on the colours of her garden and the forest around her - the resulting yarn palette is rich and jewel-like yet muted - infused with honey and earth tones.
Surrounded and inspired by the rich colours of Canada's West Coast, the "West Coast Musings" are superwash Merino wool and Blue-faced Leicester wool yarns hand dyed over an open flame using a special technique that has taken years to perfect. Minerals found in the well water used for dyeing impart an earthy cast to all Indigo Moon yarns.
Trish considers the yarns she chooses to work with very carefully - being passionate about animal and environmental issues, she feels it is important to source products that help support and care for the animals, the people and the land.
Handwoven wool blankets, silk and wool scarves, cotton towels and table ware are also available. Whether weaving or dyeing, all quantities and colourways are limited editions made by hand in small batches....or "one-of-a kinds". Enjoy!
